In this class we aim to improve your English language skills further while enjoying watching and talking about more good movies. Each week you will have access to a PDF file, via www.vhsteacher.com, with details about the upcoming film. The document will contain a list of major characters, plot summary, key dialogue from the film, and a 30-40 key word vocabulary exercise. If available, you will also get web links containing interesting background information about the film, including interviews, directors' commentaries etc. Prior to screening, there will be an opportunity for you to check the vocabulary exercise and speak with other members about the document (10-15 min). After watching the film you will be asked to join a small group (2-3 people) and contribute to a conversation about aspects of the film including interesting points of language.-Please allow 2 hours each week for homework
